“We cannot wait any longer,” Obama said.
This was from his latest push for a rush to a government take over of healthcare. This speech was to the Congressional Black Caucus. He says it is a matter of the economy.
But the truth is, the rush is a matter of politics. In fact, it is about Obama’s legacy. If he doesn’t pass this obscenity before November, he may not pass it at all.
Here’s why: in November, current polls show that the voters from the states of Virginia and New Jersey are planning to throw out their Democrat Governors in favor of the GOP candidates. If that happens, the Blue Dog Dems in the House and Senate will pause to wonder if signing on to a government take over of health care is such a good idea…at least for the future of their careers.
So the real reason for the rush is….if Obama doesn’t pass it before November….he may never pass it. And his presidency….and legacy….will be tainted. Don’t be fooled folks. This is not about helping the American people. This is about helping Obama.
